Remote Theater Project (RTP) develops work with international artists whose voices are not often heard in the U.S. Our productions are human-to-human exchanges and culture-to-culture dialogues intended to promote empathy, especially between groups in political conflict.

2022 Youth Engagement Projects NYC

We are partnering with Works on Water’s 36.5/A Durational Performance with the Sea in Astoria, Queens, offering a 3-week intensive workshop at no cost for local teens. Culminating in a public performance on July 31st at the Cove at 31st Ave/Vernon Blvd. 

IRC's Newcomer Youth Summer Academy 

RTP is partnering with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Newcomer Youth Summer Academy, providing theater workshops for teens.  We are looking forward to integrating the voices of refugees, asylum-seekers and new immigrants into our work.
